The End of the World as We Know It:

An Expanded, Crowd-Sourced, Expansion Deck for The Apocalypse

Background and specs

Back in 2016 we toyed with the idea of an apocalypse themed deck. Then the Presidential election happened and we shifted focus, creating The Trump Cards: "Fake News" from the Bible Expansion Deck. After we received email and online interest in this topic again, we went back to the drawing board, completed the deck, but then opened it for your input!

This LIMITED EDITION expansion deck contains 101 cards (27 Creed Cards / 74 Cannon Cards) drawn from the “apocalyptic” passages in

  • The Hebrew Bible/Old Testament (Genesis to 2 Chronicles/Malachi)

  • The Christian New Testament (Matthew to Revelation), &

  • The Deuterocanonical books, as recognized by the Catholic Church and Orthodox Church, (i.e. Tobit, Judith, the Maccabees, Susanna, Bel and the Dragon, etc.)

Thus we are able to bring you apocalyptic gems like:

  • “Hot wheels for the Ancient of Days” (Daniel 7:9)

  • “Getting a divine refund for years insurmountable shit” (Joel 2:25)

  • “The Lord sending all the nations to besiege Jerusalem, rob its houses, rape its women, and sell half the inhabitants into slavery, so He can swoop in and save the remainders” (Zechariah 14:2-5)

  • "The demon Asmodeus cockblocking you on 7 different wedding nights " (Tobit 3:8)

  • “Friends and family being so screwed an angel says, ‘stop praying’" (2 Esdras 7:102-115)

  • “All the single nations gathered before Him, hearing Him say, ‘to the left, to the left: all the goats I own to the left...you must not know 'bout Me.’" (Matthew 25:31–46)

  • “The flaming angels of the Lord Jesus doling out vengeance on those who do not know or obey the Gospel! (2 Thessalonians 1:7-8), and of course

  • “Everybody tripping prophetic balls” (Acts 2:17-19)

Get one (or two) before they’re gone!

What We Mean by “Apocalyptic”

The words and “apocalypse” come from a Greek root meaning “to uncover” or “to reveal.” As such apocalyptic writing is a record of divine disclosures made known through the agency of angels, dreams, and visions. These may take different forms: an otherworldly journey in which the “secrets” of the cosmos are made known… or a survey of history often leading to an eschatological crisis in which the cosmic powers of evil are destroyed, the cosmos is restored, and Israel (or “the righteous”) is redeemed.
